Coffee Shop Design

  • Design is derived from culture

Modern day designers gain much of their inspiration from ancient cultural designs which have been regarded as special and beautiful.  This inspiration allows them to create modern designs which then create business opportunities.  Currently, designers love to use historical relics to find inspiration for their designs.  During his speeches about architectural design world famous Asian architect I.M. Pei has spoken about a poem from 1600 years ago by Tao Yen Min called Peach Blossom Shangri-la, where Tao Yen Min dreams of living in a paradise. This provided Pei with inspiration to build this paradise in the MIHO art museum in Japan.  The entrance is similar to a cave followed by a light at the end of the tunnel where you can clearly see the paradise he designed.  The meaning of this design is that the darkness of the tunnel followed by the light represents a passage to another world.
SPR Coffee’s design inspiration follows this as well.  The designs for the franchises are created according to the characteristics of the store location, the expected customers and special characteristics of the surrounding environment.  This results in personal designs for each location.  Therefore, SPR Coffee’s customers have discovered that each location has its own atmosphere and style which is very popular with customers and has become a unique feature of SPR Coffee.   On one hand design is flexible and the possibilities are endless.  The design can come from observing every day life or can come from one’s imagination.  However, all the basic elements and concepts of our design are the same in which we aim to create a warm space which feels like home.
Although different coffee shops have different styles, SPR Coffee’s designs all come from the same principles which are drawn from the best elements of different cultures combined with Chinese culture.  Our design has passed the test of time and it has proven to be correct and well received by the customers.

Modern Office Design

 GREEN OFFICE
Gone are the days when offices were typically cubicle, surrounded by white walls and lit by white fluorescent lights. Thanks to corporate giants like Google and Pixar that have demonstrated tremendous success despite their unconventional workplaces, more people are embracing the idea that creative work environment helps stimulate minds and inspire innovation. From simply ditching the crisp white walls for graphical wallpapers to a total overhaul of the office layout, we are all trying to break the mold and introduce a unique working environment to the team, and hopefully inspire some genius ideas along the way.

Beautyful Bathroom

A bathroom is a room that may have different functions depending on the culturalist context. In the most literal sense, the word bathroom means "a room with a bath". Because the traditional bathtubs have partly made way for modern showers, including steam showers, the more general definition is "a room where one bathes".
There can be just a shower (or shower-bath), just a bath (or bathtub) or both; and often both plumbing fixtures are combined in the bathtub. The room may also contain a sink (or wash basin or hand basin), a lavatory and a bidet.

In the United States, "bathroom" commonly means "a room containing a lavatory". In other countries this is usually called the "toilet" or alternatively "water closet" (WC), lavatory or "loo". The word "bathroom" is also used in the U.S. for a public toilet (the more formal U.S. term being "restroom").

Kitchen Design

A kitchen is a room or part of a room used for cooking and food preparation.

In the West, a modern residential kitchen is typically equipped with a stove, a sink with hot and cold running water, a refrigerator and kitchen cabinets arranged according to a modular design. Many households have a microwave oven, a dishwasher and other electric appliances. The main function of a kitchen is cooking or preparing food but it may also be used for dining and entertaining.

Nice Bedroom

A bedroom is a private room where people usually sleep for the night or relax during the day.
Many houses in North America, Australia and Europe have at least two bedrooms—usually a master bedroom (dedicated to the heads of the household, such as a husband and wife) and one or more bedrooms for either the children or guests.

In some jurisdictions there are basic features (such as a closet and a "means of egress") which a room must have in order to be qualify as a bedroom. In many states, such as Alaska, bedrooms are not required to have closets and must instead meet minimum size requirements.

In buildings with multiple self-contained housing units (e.g., apartments), the number of bedrooms varies widely. While many such units have at least one bedroom—frequently, these units have at least two—some of these units may not have a specific room dedicated for use as a bedroom. (These units may be known by various names, including studio, efficiency, bedsit, and others.)

Furniture and other items in bedrooms vary greatly, depending on taste and local tradition. For instance, a master bedroom may include a bed of a specific size (double, king or queen-sized); one or more dressers (or perhaps, a wardrobe armoire); a nightstand; one or more closets; and carpeting. Built-in closets are less common in Europe than in North America; thus there is greater use of freestanding wardrobes or armoires in Europe.

Bedding used in northern Europe (especially in Scandinavia) is significantly different from that used in North America and other parts of Europe. In Japan futons are common.
Some bedrooms also include such items as a make-up desk, television, personal computer, air conditioning and various accessories (such as lamps, telephone and an alarm clock).
Sometimes, a master bedroom is connected to a dedicated bathroom, often called an ensuite.

Living Room Design

When it comes to your entertainment room design the best thing to do is understand what goes where, what to incorporate into the room and how to manage certain pieces. The trick to designing your living room is to first see what you have that you want to incorporate and go from there. What I have found works the best is create a list of all the items you want in that room with exact dimensions that way you can create a room map that will replicate what your plans are.

Something most people don't understand about living room design is the fact that not ever space in the room needs to be filled. Most people will design their living room where it is packed with more stuff than really needs to be in there and that is sometimes overwhelming. What I recommend doing is fill no more than 80% of your living room with stuff that way you can have some room to add things at a later date.

Another thing you should understand is that it needs to flow from a center point to the back not the other way around. Most people do this backwards where they have a center point but don't really point the furniture towards it or anything else. If you want to have design then you need to think about what you want the center point to be. If you don't have a center point then you really won't have anything to work towards.

Tips to create the best living room
Start small - The first thing you need to do is start small when you are placing things in your room. Most people place large items in the room first but this is the wrong thing to do, you want to start with smaller items and work your way to larger ones.
Work from ground up - Something many people don't do is work from the ground up instead of starting from the ceiling and going to the ground. The reason you should work from the ground up is so you can decide what goes where without having left over items in the end.
If you want to have the best room design you need to understand how much little things matter, for instance if you want to implement small coffee tables into your living room you should place them first before anything to help get a better feel for the room.
